You may be requested by our support team to perform a hard reset. This action will reset hardware settings. A reset is permanent and cannot be undone.
It will erase all personal data and downloaded content on the phone. It will NOT affect or erase your memory card, your SIM card, or any Monqi settings, contacts, geofences, and restrictions.
We recommend you transfer any photos or files you wish to save. Please ensure your phone is charged or plugged in before continuing.
A factory reset is different than a hard reset!
- Power off the Monqi phone completely.
- Hold the Volume Down and Power button until the phone screen turns on. This may take 10 to 15 seconds, just continue holding the buttons down.
The device will be placed into Factory Mode.
- Use the Volume Down button to navigate to Clear eMCC.
- Use the Power Key to select the option. This process will take around 5 minutes.
You've successfully performed a hard reset!
Once the phone is back on, skip the Android set up and do not add a Google account. Tap the Monqi icon like when you started the first time.
